Is this a server problem? I need my internet urgently to work from home. The landline works fine, it's just the internet keeps switching off and I have to keep trying to reconnect it. My router is a 4 or 5 year-old N600 (Belkin) -- so not cutting edge/top of the line, but so far enough for 1 person in an apartment. My internet connection is via cable modem and reasonably fast by suburban standards (up to 25 Mbps wireless, close to 100 Mbps wired.)

Sep 26, 2017 · The WiFi connection to my router is stable, but the internet will be lost for 1-5 minutes and then will come back. Rebooting generally brings it back immediately. The router is a Google mesh system and my iPad Pro has the exact same network settings as my iPhone 7--which never drops the internet. My MacBook Pro never drops either.
